Going back to Folk Festival is always like going home. Lilli Kuzma is the first person to give me a radio spot all those years ago, and I am excited and grateful to return to the studio to do a live concert and then a radio interview on Lilli's "Mardi Gras Show." How cool is that? Seeing as how I am a former New Orleans resident, it is a special (and deliberate) pleasure to celebrate Fat Tuesday at WDCB. The radio show is free on the FM air waves or streaming at wdcb.org. The concert will be an intimate event outside the studio for you who reserve a seat (contact Lilli at lkupbeat@aol.com). It will be wonderful to return to New Orleans in my mind and to Chicago in geographical reality. I can't wait to see my favorite listeners there! Oh, stay tuned for special guests!
